Book Clubs
Jan spent more than fifteen years as a member of book group, and there’s nothing she likes more than to talk to other people who love books. She can join your book group via Zoom or in person, if scheduling and geography allows, to discuss some of the issues the book raises. Or, she can give the inside story about writing it: details that didn’t make it into the pages; how hard it is to track down people forty years after the fact; angry phone calls from people who didn’t want to be found; interesting reactions from people who did; the length of the research process; and what prescription glasses you need to read court transcripts on microfiche.
